It’s part of GiGwi’s I’M Hero series.

This toy suits dogs who enjoy light to moderate play. GiGwi designed it for indoor play, so it’s a good fit for lounge room fetch, carrying and cuddling.

The weak spots on a plush toy are usually the seams. Here, the TPR shield covers the body and protects the seams around the head, arms and legs from your dog’s teeth.

Why We Love It

Every plush toy has to balance softness with staying power, and the TPR shield is a practical way of doing that. Your dog gets soft plush to carry and squeak, while the seams at the most stressed joints have a firm layer in front of them.

We handled this toy when we listed it. It measures 20 cm from head to feet and 18 cm at the widest point, and it weighs 140 g on our scales. The pink TPR shield feels firm and slightly rubbery, and it runs as a continuous border around the seams of the head, arms and legs. The green plush head, arms and legs are soft, as are the grey hands and feet.

The squeaker sits inside the body behind the TPR shield, so you can’t see it. The toy arrives on a cardboard hang tag with no outer box, and the manufacturer’s M size label is printed on the tag.

Key Benefits

Seam Protection: The TPR shield covers the body and borders the seams of the head, arms and legs, where plush toys commonly wear first.

Soft and Firm Together: Soft plush limbs and head are easy to carry, while the shield gives a firmer surface to grip.

Built-in Squeaker: The squeaker is sealed inside the body behind the TPR shield, so it isn’t exposed to your dog.

Easy-Carry Size: At 20 cm long and 140 g, the Medium is a manageable size for carrying and tossing indoors.

Clear Play Style: GiGwi designed this toy for light to moderate play, which makes it simple to judge against your dog’s habits.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0045/6694/1730/files/gigwi-im-hero-plush-alligator-dog-toy-medium-front.jpg?v=1794019719
