Pet Variety 30-Day Return and Refund Policy:

At Petvariety.com.au, we aim to ensure you are fully content with your purchase. However, we acknowledge that there may be instances when you need to return a product you bought from us. As a result, we endeavour to make the return process simple and stress-free for you.

Australian Consumer Law

petvariety.com.au handles returns and processes refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides certain guarantees for consumers when they purchase goods and services. If a product is faulty, of unacceptable quality, not as described, or unfit for any disclosed/advertised purpose, consumers have the right to a refund, repair or replacement under the ACL.

You may return your item(s) within 30 days of purchase and receive a refund, replacement or store credit, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The product must be returned in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging, with all original tags and labels attached.
  2. Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, must be provided.
  3. The product must not have been damaged or altered by you, the 'customer', your pet(s) or another person.
  4. The product is not a perishable item, such as food or treats unless they fail to meet consumer guarantees set out by the manufacturer (e.g. the palatability guarantee on super-premium foods).
  5. The customer must pay for the return shipping costs unless the product is faulty or not as described.
  6. If the product is 'faulty' or not as 'described', Petvariety.com.au will provide a refund or exchange, including the cost of return shipping.
  7. If the product is returned for reasons other than being faulty or not as described, Petvariety.com.au will provide a refund or exchange but will not refund the original shipping costs.
  8. Approved refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the initial purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for your refund claim to be processed.
  9. If the above terms and conditions are not adhered to, Petvariety.com.au may decline a return or exchange.

If you need to return a product you bought from us, we are here to help. Contact our friendly customer service team at hello@petvariety.com.au to request your return approval. We will then take you through the easy process.

Upon receiving; and examining the returned item(s), we will contact you with further details about your request for a refund, replacement or store credit.
