Thank you for considering Pet Variety for your pet care needs! Please take a moment to review our shipping policy to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Shipping Methods:

  • Pet Variety primarily utilizes Australia Post and other reputable courier companies for shipping. We also offer a *Free Local Delivery service.

Shipping Time Frames:

  • Estimated shipping time frames depend on your location and usually range from (2 to 17 business days).
  • Local deliveries are usually the same day or the next business day.

High Demand Periods - In times of high demand, such as peak holiday seasons or special promotional periods, processing and shipping times may be extended. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these busy periods.

Shipping Costs:

  • Shipping costs are determined based on size, weight, and the delivery location of your order.
  • For an estimated delivery quote, add the item(s) you wish to order to your shopping cart and select the "VIEW CART" button. Make sure you enter your correct state, suburb and postcode. The estimated shipping costs of your order will then be displayed. The "FREE SHIPPING*" option will also be displayed if your order is eligible for free shipping.
  • You can also view your available shipping options and final cost during checkout before completing your payment.

Free Shipping:

  • Enjoy *Free Local Delivery on orders over $49.00. (Available to residents in selected surrounding suburbs).
  • There are also periods when we may offer limited free shipping promotions on selected items or minimum cart total. Keep an eye on our website or subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on our special promotions.

*Our free shipping offers apply to standard domestic courier services only. Normal shipping charges apply for Australia Post (Parcel Post), (Express Post) or (PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers). 

International Shipping:

  • At this time, we only ship our products to Australian addresses. We do not offer international shipping, nor will we process international orders received with an Australian courier-forwarding address. 

Order Processing Time:

  • Pet Variety aims to process and dispatch orders within 0 to 1 business day, provided the ordered product(s) are readily available in our warehouse.

Order Tracking:

  • We provide tracking for orders shipped via Australia Post or our courier partners. To check the status of your order, log in to your Pet Variety account or use the provided tracking number on the provider's website.

Shipping Restrictions:

  • Some large bulky items and other products we offer through our website, such as birdseed, may be unavailable for shipping to specific locations. This could be due to the product's oversized shipping dimensions or quarantine restrictions.  

Shipping Partners:

  • Our preferred shipping partners are Australia Post and Sendle.

Delivery Issues:

  • For damaged items or lost orders, we recommend, in the first instance - that you contact Australia Post or the courier company directly. Please note that Pet Variety is not responsible for goods damaged in transit or not received.
  • Replacement of damaged or lost items will be at the discretion of Pet Variety.
